What’s in the bag:
Diced Kathirikka
Small Onions
Garlic
Curry Leaves
How to Cook:
Crush the small onions, curry leaves and garlic together and keep them aside. Heat two tablespoons of coconut oil in a pan and add some mustard seeds. When it starts to splutter toss in the crushed onions mix and saute till the raw smell is gone and when the onions turn golden brown. Now add in the diced kathirikka pieces and mix well. Sprinkle some salt and combine nicely. Cover and cook for two minutes on medium heat. Sprinkle some chilly powder, pepper powder and rice flour on top of the kathirikka pieces. Gently toss and stir well so that the masala gets coated over the pieces. Roast the mix on a medium flame for about four to five minutes till the kathirikka becomes soft and well-cooked. Turn off the stove and serve it with boiled rice.
